Once your extractions are complete, your immediate denture is inserted right away. It acts as a protective cover for your extraction sites while giving you a complete, functional smile from the very first moment of your recovery.
As your mouth heals over the following months, your gums and bone will naturally reshape. We schedule regular follow-up appointments to adjust the fit, and once healing is complete, we reline or replace your denture so it continues to fit comfortably for the long term.

Immediate dentures are designed as a temporary solution while your mouth heals. As bone and soft tissue naturally shrink and reshape during recovery, the fit will change over time. That is completely normal and expected. We schedule regular adjustments throughout the healing process, and once recovery is complete, we either reline your immediate denture for long-term use or fabricate a new permanent prosthesis.
