Flexible dentures are made from a thin, resilient thermoplastic nylon material rather than rigid acrylic or metal. They use gum-coloured clasps instead of visible metal components, flex gently with the natural movement of your mouth, and are noticeably lighter than conventional partial dentures. Many patients find them much easier and more comfortable to wear.
They can be a great long-term option for the right patient. However, because the thermoplastic material cannot be relined or rebased as your mouth changes over time, a replacement may eventually be needed. Yusuf will discuss your specific situation and the long-term outlook during your free consultation so you can make the most informed decision.
